 Powerful Play

Creative play is powerful.  In play, we learn effortlessly and naturally become mindful as we lose ourselves in the flow.  We view life with curiosity and wonder.  While dancing, drumming, stretching, or creating intuitive art, we give ourselves permission to be a beginner, to explore with excitement rather than fear. 

There is no level of skill required for any of these programs.  It is impossible to do it wrong.  We all learn from each other and from the horses.  Come and play with the herd at Possibilities Farm or schedule a Hearing Your Horse session at your barn for Carrie to come help you deepen your communication with your own horse.

Creative Possibilites

You are a creative genius!  We all are, but after third grade many of us have forgotten.  In this workshop, the horses will help you remember and inspire you to create.  Mystery art boxes with unique materials requiring absolutely no artistic skill foster a sense of freedom, joy, and playfulness.  Produce beautiful and meaningful creations with processes such as intuitive painting, junk mail poetry, and sensory writing, laughing all the way.  Creativity is helpful in many areas of life and the effects of this creative jumpstart will stay with you long after you leave the farm.  Please contact Carrie at 203-803-8333 (cell) or [email protected] for more information or to schedule. ​

 ​Hearing Your Horse​

​A Hearing Your Horse session is done onsite at your barn and helps you deepen your connection to your horse by understanding his/her priorities, initiating conversations, recognizing different types of responses and fostering ongoing dialogue.  This session was inspired by my interactions with a group of stallions.  I had never interacted with stallions before, domesticated or feral, and I approached them the way I approach all the horses I meet.  I was amazed and delighted to discover that it was just as easy to connect with them and to play together with safe boundaries as it was with my own horses.  I am delighted to share this process with others.  Please contact Carrie at 203-803-8333 (cell) or [email protected] for more information or to schedule.
